The Punishing Signal
城市道路的噪音污染一直讓孟買警局頭疼，于是他們請來 FCBIndia Advertising LLP（孟買）和 FCB Global（紐約）一起解決這個(gè)問題。很快，他們發(fā)布了一項(xiàng)名為“The Punishing Signal”的活動(dòng)。
他們使用特殊的分貝計(jì)連接到全市的交通信號(hào)燈上。當(dāng)分貝超過危險(xiǎn)的85分貝時(shí)，信號(hào)燈的計(jì)時(shí)器就會(huì)自動(dòng)復(fù)位，迫使人們在信號(hào)燈前等待更長時(shí)間。這是為了 "懲罰 "那些司機(jī)的不耐煩，告訴他們，如果他們按更多次喇叭，他們將不得不等待更多的時(shí)間。
孟買警方表示："按喇叭是不好的習(xí)慣，也是交通不守規(guī)矩的行為。不幸的是，許多孟買人沉迷于肆意按喇叭。按喇叭會(huì)造成噪音污染，傷害耳膜，增加心率，造成交通混亂，造成壓力。"
"不必要的按喇叭是一種威脅，每個(gè)人都認(rèn)識(shí)到了，但卻沒有什么辦法遏制。這個(gè)小實(shí)驗(yàn)是孟買警方為在孟買創(chuàng)造更好的道路紀(jì)律所做的眾多嘗試之一。希望能鼓勵(lì)孟買人少按喇叭，創(chuàng)造一個(gè)無噪音、無壓力的通勤環(huán)境。"
