John Bevins

約翰·貝文斯（John Bevins），1963年加入廣告公司HR麥肯光明（Hansen-Rubensohn-McCann-Erickson），從一個(gè)小小的收發(fā)員做起。1968年，他進(jìn)入奧美（Ogilvy& Mather）開始從事文案工作。1972年，年僅26歲的他就成為了悉尼奧美（O & M Sydney）的創(chuàng)意總監(jiān)。1982年，他創(chuàng)辦了自己的公司——約翰·貝文斯私人有限公司（John Bevins Pty. 這幅曠世杰作，想必你無法忘卻。1654年問世，出自倫勃朗之手。它講述的是芭特葉巴與大衛(wèi)王的故事。一個(gè)非常重要的細(xì)節(jié)就是芭特葉巴正在看的那封大衛(wèi)王寫給她的信。

（他在）信中邀她與其暗中私會(huì)。至于芭特葉巴（已經(jīng)結(jié)婚）的結(jié)局，可想而知是非常不幸的。但是，還有一個(gè)更加重要的細(xì)節(jié)，直到最近才被發(fā)現(xiàn)。它給“芭特葉巴”那壓抑的苦楚平添一絲新的內(nèi)涵。

To a doctor, it’s classic breastcancer.

You will never forget this masterpiece. It tells the story of Bathsheba and King David. It was painted by REMBRANT in1654. A fateful detail is the letter being read by Bathsheba. It is from King David.

It asks that she meet him in secret. The consequences for Bathsheba—already wed—can only be tragic. But there is an even more fateful detail,discovered only recently. It gives new meaning to the brooding poignancy of “Bathsheba.”

Look closely at the model’s left breast.Can you see the dimpling? This detail, recorded unknowingly by Rembrandt, is advanced breast cancer.

The consequences for the model? Well, she died several years later.

She was Hendrickje Stoffels. She was also Rembrandt’s common-law wife and, within a year of the painting, mother of hisdaughter. (Was she pregnant as she posed?)

In those days, neither model nor artist,nor anyone, had heard of breast cancer. Expert medical opinion now is that, almost certainly, she died of breast cancer.

Awoman’s best protection is early detection.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer inwomen.

These days, doctors can detect breast cancer long before it becomes even an unseen, unfelt lump. And long, long before it becomes the classic “orange peel dimpling” recorded by Rembrandt. For many women early detection can mean a complete cure.

Early detection is your best protection from the consequences of breast cancer. It can save your life, often without the need for a mastectomy.

The only early detection that works is regular screening mammograms.

Regular screening mammograms are recommended for women over 40 and for younger women where there is a family history of breast cancer.

Screening mammograms are not covered by Medicare unless symptoms are present or unless there is that family history.

If you are under 40, with no family history of breast cancer, your doctor is the best person to talk to about breast health and a detection regimen most appropriate for you.

2. 廣告應(yīng)該使人充實(shí)，而非讓人貧瘠。言而有物的廣告不一定有讀者，但言之無物的廣告一定不會(huì)有讀者。

3. 想要進(jìn)入寫作狀態(tài)最好的方法就是動(dòng)筆寫。

4. 選擇合適的人共事，能給你的作品提出實(shí)質(zhì)性見地的人。

5. 最后也是最重要的一點(diǎn)：探索 探索 探索（research research research）。
